Chicken breast lightly coated with homemade breadcrumbs topped with a lemon-butter and white wine sauce and capers. Served with garlic mashed potatoes (lower carb alternative: sautéed green beans. Please indicate your preference for the veggie side. Otherwise, we will assume potatoes.) This is a dish you would take home and reheat. $13 for one serving / $24 for two servings / $46 for four.
Beef Stroganoff Casserole
Ground beef, noodles and mushrooms are combined with a tangy sour cream and white wine sauce. This is a “take and bake” dish. It also freezes well. Allow 45 minutes to 1 hour from start to serving time. $18.00 for an 8.5″ X 6″ tin (2-3 servings).
Baked Potato Soup
So it’s not cold yet, it’s still a great time to stock up on soup for a rainy day. Russet potatoes and diced veggies (onion, carrot, celery) come together and blend into a creamy, cheesy soup. Included is a small side of chopped bacon for garnish. Recommended accompaniments for you to pick up at the store this week: sour cream, green onions and extra grated cheese for toppings (I like sharp cheddar but any will do). $16 plus tax for a 32 oz container (four 8 oz servings).
